Pushpanjali Residence
Conceived on the grounds of an old pottery kiln, the 18000 sq. ft. residence takes cues from both craft and terrain. The natural undulation of the site allows the house to span two floors, with a tall concrete entry tower reminiscent of a kiln’s funnel, marking the arrival. Partially sunken into the ground, the lower level opens onto a vibrant entertainment lawn at the back and a serene pool in the front, merging architecture with outdoor living.
Above, the upper floor is surrounded by a canopy of treetops, creating a forest-like setting. This level is designed as a professional hub for the owner, a practicing lawyer, offering spaces for meetings and legal consultations within an atmosphere of calm and privacy. The Pushpanjali Residence stands as a balance of history, nature, and contemporary life- a home shaped by both its context and its inhabitant’s needs.
